RETURNS POLICY
- All Return items must be itemized and include a Central Trading Company invoice number on which the goods were originally delivered.
- Products must be returned in the same condition as delivered (See exceptions)
- Products damaged at the customers’ premises through improper handling or infestation will not be accepted for credit.
- For goods damaged during delivery or short-delivered goods, the customer must contact us within 24 hours of delivery. We will investigate and communicate with the customer within 24hrs of reporting with a resolution.
- The customer should return slow moving shelf items within three (2) months of receiving in the same condition that they were received. Expired products will not be accepted and credit granted.
- Products with a stated expiration date must be returned at least one month prior to that date.
- Credit notes will be attached to a monthly statement, and will indicate the invoice to which it has been applied.
- As Central Trading deals with returns on a case by case basis to better serve our customers, full credit will depend on the extent and nature of the damages. Goods that are dumped, which was not previously inspected by a Sales Representative and confirmed that Central Trading was the supplier, will not be eligible for credit.
- As Central Trading takes care of the dispatch of the products you purchase from our warehouse, the risk of loss of, or damage to, products shall pass to you, our customer, when you, or a person designated by you, acquires physical possession of the products.
- There are no returns or exchanges accepted for clearance sale or discounted items.
RETURNS EXCEPTIONS
NON RETURNABLE ITEMS –
- Chinese Sausage
- Food items that have been opened in vendors store
- Open cartons of Batteries
- Open pack of Stockings
- All Glass Items ****
- Items where packaging is damaged and pieces removed while in the vendors location
- Products that are visibly infested will not be accepted for credit
- Products dumped by vendor without approval of an officer of Central Trading in writing will not be eligible for credit
- Flour products of any kind including noodles
*** All glass items are non-returnable. Please inspect the item(s) carefully before signing the invoice. If the item is incorrect or broken, refuse the delivery and you will receive a full refund. Note that once the item has been accepted it will be deemed to be correct and in good condition.
